Thank you so very much to our friends and colleagues who donated backpacks and money to purchase school supplies for the children in Grande Saline, Haiti. Dr. Robinson has started to distribute the supplies to the children. Dr. Robinson reports that each child received 6 copy books , 2 pens , 2 pencils and a backpack. A total of 120 children have received these. materials. It is great to see the kids working in their new classrooms.
Dr. Robinson also sent some recent pictures of the very busy Health for Haiti water filtration system. When you see the before and after pictures, you can appreciate how important this system is to the people who live in the community.
Thank you again to all of the Health for Haiti supporters. We are excited to say that our 2016 class is coming together and we look forward to continuing to work together with our friends in Haiti.
